Diljit Dosanjh's 'Sardaar Ji 3' Dominates Overseas Box Office, Nears 50 Crore

Diljit Dosanjh’s horror-comedy movie Sardaar Ji 3 is a huge hit despite not getting release in Indian Cinema. The movie is all set to cross the ₹50 crore mark at the international box office itself.

The film was collected around ₹9 crore on its second weekend, despite drops of 40% from first-frame, it was a solid hold. Directed by Amar Hundal, this ttotalcollection excludes Pakistan where the film earned ₹7 crore in its first week there, but collected zero over the weekend after being pulled out of cinemas for Muharram.

The 10-days overseas collection of ₹42.60 crores (~$5 million) made Sardaar Ji 3 the highest grossing Punjabi film of 2025, moving past around the ₹35 cr mark – which is reached by "Saunkan Saunkanay 2" since it hit theatres on May 30th.

North America is the film's largest market with an estimated ₹18.75 crores ($2.2 million), followed by Pakistan at 7 crores ($830K) and the United Kingdom at ₹6.25 crores ($725K).

Sardaar Ji 3 is the 3rd highest grossing Punjabi movie in the overseas market after "Carry On Jatta 3"( ₹ 46 crores) and "Jatt & Juliet 3" ( ₹ 57,50 crores). The action will be the biggest Punjabi grosser in overseas.

Sardaar Ji 3 is breaking records in overseas market. Sardaar ji 3rd part is the 3rd highest grossing punjabi movie in overseas .It needs just 3.17 crores to surpass his 2nd highest grosser, Carry On Jatta 3 (46 crores).

Sardaar Ji 3 would have turned out to be the greatest Punjabi film at the global box office, only if it had released in India. But the makers were forced to drop its domestic release owing to the casting of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, that which drew flak for the makers in the country.
